Privacy Policy
Friday is operated by Ashley Verdant Limited (a New Zealand company, trading as Friday). Friday installs an AI accounts-payable system on your own computer. We do not run a hosted service, so we hold very little of your information. This policy explains what we do hold, why, and your rights under the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020.
1. The short version
The Friday system runs entirely on your own computer, your own Claude (Anthropic) subscription, your own Gmail, and your own Xero. We operate no hosted app, store none of your bill data, hold no passwords or access tokens for your accounts, and have no access to your systems after an install is finished.
2. This website
This website is a brochure. It does not use analytics, advertising, or tracking cookies. Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs (request times and IP addresses) to run and secure the site.
3. Email and enquiries
If you email us or book a demo, we keep the correspondence: your name, business name, email address, and whatever you tell us about your business. We use it to respond to you, run your install, and meet our own tax and record-keeping obligations as a New Zealand business. We do not sell it, share it for marketing, or add you to any list you did not ask for.
4. During an install
To configure the system during a paid install, Cooper may view, on your own screen and in your own systems, your supplier list, chart of accounts, and sample supplier bills. That information stays in your systems. What we retain is the configuration templates needed to support your install under warranty: your supplier-to-account mapping and the setup files we built for you. We keep those secure and use them only to support you.
5. Testimonials and case studies
We publish a client's name, business, or results only with their written consent. You can withdraw that consent at any time and we will take the material down.
6. Your rights
Under the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020 you can ask us for a copy of any personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it (subject to records we must keep by law). If you believe we have mishandled your information, you can complain to us, or directly to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner (privacy.org.nz).
